Volunteer at Camp Taylor Elementary

Join us in making a difference in the lives of children in our community! Our program at Camp Taylor Elementary is in need of volunteers to help pack bags of food on Fridays throughout the school year. We invite you to volunteer at Camp Taylor, located at 1446 Belmar Drive, Louisville, KY 40213.

What You’ll Do:

As a volunteer, you’ll help pack bags of food for kids participating in the Blessings program. On Friday mornings at 9:30 a.m. throughout the school year, you’ll work alongside students to assemble food bags for those in need. This rewarding opportunity lasts approximately one hour. You should expect to finish around 10:45 a.m. Here’s how it works:

  • Students will walk along the line with open bags.
  • Volunteers will assist in filling these bags with essential food items.
  • Once filled, the bags will be tied and stored for distribution to ensure hungry children receive the nourishment they need over the weekend.

Why Volunteer?

This is a wonderful experience for individuals and companies alike, providing a chance to have a meaningful, positive impact in our community. You’ll see our mission in action and witness firsthand the smiles on the faces of those you’re helping.
