August 7 ‘Kar Wash’ Benefits Blessings in a Backpack
On August 7, join Keller Williams Realty for a FREE car wash benefiting the Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter. Live guest hosts from 99.7 WDJX will be in attendance, plus guests will enjoy free snow cones, food, snacks, and fun giveaways!
Louisville senior living facility hosting to-go picnics benefitting Blessings in a Backpack
Everlan of Louisville is calling its to-go picnics “Summer Fest” and they are held every Friday afternoon in July from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizers are asking for a donation of five dollars or non-perishable food items that will benefit Blessings in a Backpack.
Funds from Viral NFL Donation Campaign Helps Feed Kids in Baltimore
On Tuesday, June 1, the incoming freshman class of Mount Saint Joseph packed 400 bags of food that Blessings in a Backpack will distribute to Beechfield Elementary School in Baltimore to help ensure those students have food for the remainder of the school year.
