Birthday girl, family donates food to Blessings in a Backpack

Her mom said Ellie loves to help in the kitchen so they made her birthday “food-themed” and asked anyone who came to the party to bring a donation for hungry kids.

Racing Louisville FC partners with Blessings in a Backpack to ensure Louisville kids don’t go hungry

Racing Louisville athletes helped pack bags of weekend food for 80 students attending Hawthorne Elementary. The partnership was crafted through the National Women’s Soccer League Nationwide Contest, where each partner organization or team receives a grant to support a local nonprofit and serves as the focus of a team-led service project
