Pack the Sack Raises $50,000 to Feed Louisville Kids

Thank you to our amazing sponsors, along with everyone who purchased a silent auction item, a ticket to the event, and/or tuned in to Pack the Sack.

Because of you, we raised more than $50,000, allowing us to feed over 400 children for an entire school year!

Thank you to Party Zone Productions for producing an incredible video for our event. Dawne Gee, Tony Vanetti, local teachers, and Blessings kids shared their perspective on how much the Blessings program means to the kids in our community and the difference it makes in their lives.

Thank you to US Foods for donating all the food used by Darnell “SuperChef” Ferguson to prepare the following world-class dinner:

  • Salad: Spring salad with pears, red onions, smoked blue cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette.
  • Entrée: Truffle and chimichurri salmon with smoked cheese grits, charred spiced carrots, and fried potato straws.

Thank you to Old 502 Winery for donating the wine, Christie Cookies for donating dessert, and Honeywick Marketing for helping promote the event.

We would also like to give a huge shout-out to the many volunteers who signed up to deliver food to guests all across Louisville! Without you, we could not have pulled off the first-ever (and hopefully the last) virtual Pack the Sack event.
