Blessings in a Backpack Partners With Unbridled Charitable Foundation for Third Annual “Unbridled Afternoon” for Louisville Students
Unbridled Afternoon included activities such as celebrity meet-and-greets, petting zoo, hot air balloon, and stick-horse races, bringing the Derby spirit to the students in a kid-friendly way.

In 2012, the Calipari Foundation gave $10,000 to work with Blessings in a Backpack to feed children in Hazard. In 2020, the foundation gave $75,000 to target communities across Kentucky.
Blessings in a Backpack raises more than $160,000 to feed Louisville children at annual Pack the Sack event
Thanks to the Louisville Chapter of Blessings in a Backpack’s “Pack the Sack” celebrity dinner, more Louisville children will now have access to weekend food, with over $160,000 raised to support their mission.
